It corners quicker than anything on the market. Lotus has built their reputation on a lightweight and technical chassis that is matched with a powerful motor. This two-seat, rear-wheel-drive, midengine coupe is built strictly for unmatched performance and road feel. With low production numbers you're guaranteed a car that's unique.
Horsepower: 220 hp | Torque: 165 ft-lbs.
Under the hood is a high revving Toyota-sourced 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine. The Exige S adds a Roots-type supercharger supplying 7.25 psi of boost, which results in ratings of 220 hp at 8,000 rpm and 165 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. Matched with it's lightweight chassis, this car will take you 0-60 runs in the low 4-second mark.

It's racetrack oriented design keeps it low. The aluminum chassis keeps it lightweight and stiff. Every curve of the exterior serves a purpose to provide unbelievable down force that glues your tires to the road with increased speed. You'll have to re-learn steering, as this car is capable of taking corners faster than you thought possible.
Limited Slip Differential | Traction Control | Track Pack
This model has the optional limited slip differential that will improve acceleration and power out of turns. Because the exige derives its strength based on its low weight, it's also an overachiever at the pump. This model is also equipped with traction control that will keep your wheels from slipping and can easily be disengaged at the push of the button. The Track Pack on this Exige S comes with adjustable dampers, adjustable front stabilizer bar, additional rear suspension brace and interior fittings for a race-oriented harness.

At first impression... it's a really small car, that's not the easiest to get in and out of. It's not supposed to be! As such the amenities are also minimal. Air conditioning and a CD player are standard. It was upgraded with the Touring Pack that aims to slightly improve comfort through leather seating, power windows, power locks, upgraded audio, a storage net, additional sound-deadening material and full carpeting. It is equipped with an iPod connection kit that lets you plug in to your favorite tunes. An alarm will keep your belongings safe. The thin transparent adhesive called Starshield was added to keep the magnificent metallic orange paint scratch and chip free. The team Dynamics, Black, 16" Wheels combine for a modern race inspired look.
This is a weekend track car that is still street legal for getting around town or your favorite backroads.
